ABOUT US

Welcome to Sandra B Wellness!
Hello, and thank you for visiting my website and showing interest in Sandra B Wellness. My name is Sandra Baquet, and my journey into holistic wellness began long before I ever stepped into a classroom or studio. At just 17, I began experiencing debilitating pain in my lower back and hips—pain that arrived without warning and without explanation.
What started as a search for relief led me to massage therapy. Those early sessions were transformative. Through intentional touch and consistent bodywork, I discovered not only physical healing, but a deeper understanding of my own body—a reconnection to balance, presence, and wellbeing. That experience planted a seed in me: a calling to support others on their path to healing.
In 2015, I became a licensed massage therapist. As my passion for holistic health deepened, I expanded my expertise by earning my personal training certification and completing 200 hours of yoga teacher training. These modalities allow me to support the body from multiple angles—movement, breath, strength, release, and restoration.
In 2023, I took a leap of faith and opened my own wellness practice, a dream years in the making. While Sandra B Wellness is still growing, it continues to flourish each day because of the trust, support, and kindness of my wonderful clients. From the bottom of my heart, I am sincerely grateful for each and every one of you.
Today, I blend intuitive healing with therapeutic technique to create a space where the body can unwind, the nervous system can soften, and the whole self can realign.
My mission is simple:
to offer a sanctuary where you can breathe deeply, release fully, and return home to your body.

Medical massage:
60 minute treatment
Medical massage therapy is a treatment performed as part of a healthcare provider’s overall treatment plan with which a prescription is needed. This type of massage therapy is typically concentrated on a specific medical diagnosis. The exact techniques and procedures that are used during treatment will vary from each patient. Medical massage is one of the most simple yet extremely effective tools for reaching rapid and sustained results in various disorders including sciatic nerve neuralgia, hypertension, impingement syndromes, neck, shoulder and back disorders. Medical massage is a comprehensive method of soft tissue mobilization consisting of connective tissue massage, muscular mobilization, trigger point therapy, skin mobilization, and other components.
Swedish Massage:
50 minute or 80 minute treatments
Swedish massage is the most common type of massage. Known for its soft, long, kneading strokes combined with shorter, rhythmic tapping strokes, this kind of massage uses light to moderate pressure to accommodate your comfort level.
Deep Tissue Massage:
50 minute or 80 minute treatments
Deep tissue massage gives attention to painful trouble spots on the body. It targets muscle knots (areas of tension within the muscle fiber) and problem areas in deeper muscle layers and connective tissue.
Aromatherapy Massage:
An addition to a 50 or 80 minute treatments
Aromatherapy massage integrates essential oils into the massage experience. Blending these two elements together promotes relaxation and may invigorate or energize you, depending on the types of scents you choose.
1. LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL
Lavender essential oil is known to be very soothing and relaxing. It can help with insomnia, anxiety, depression, and restlessness. Lavender has anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties, making it therapeutic for healing burns and bug bites.
When used during massage, lavender can help sedate your nervous system and improve overall relaxation.
2. PEPPERMINT ESSENTIAL OIL
Peppermint essential oil is known to be very invigorating and great for opening up the sinuses. It can help with stuffy noses and colds. Peppermint can be used internally or topically on the skin.
Peppermint oil with your massage experience can help improve headaches, reduce muscle inflammation, and help soothe joint pain.
3. LEMONGRASS ESSENTIAL OIL
Lemongrass essential oil is very invigorating and energizing. It has a pleasant but strong lemony aroma and is great for uplifting the wearer. When used with massage, lemongrass essential oil is beneficial for achy muscle relief. These essential oils can be used during a massage to boost the benefits and enhance your overall experience.
4. EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL
Eucalyptus Essential Oil is known to relieve mental exhaustion by boosting circulation to the brain, thereby stimulating the mind out of sluggishness, and rejuvenating the spirit. It is also used to clear sinuses and congestion.
100 Minute Massage:
Indulge in the ultimate relaxation with a 100-minute luxury massage experience designed to melt away stress and rejuvenate your body. Every element of this experience is thoughtfully curated to provide deep relaxation, renewal, and a sense of total well-being.
Cupping Therapy:
An addition to a 50 or 80 minute massage
During this treatment cupping is used as an enhancement added to your massage. Cupping is a type of alternative therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This suction is thought to improve the flow of energy in the body and facilitate healing. These days, cupping therapy is usually found as a treatment offered by practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Proponents believe the suction helps facilitate the flow of “qi” in the body. Qi is a Chinese word meaning life force.
Many believe that cupping helps balance yin and yang, or the negative and positive, within the body. Restoring balance between these two extremes is thought to help with the body’s resistance to pathogens as well as its ability to increase blood flow and reduce pain.
Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.
People use cupping to complement their care for a host of symptoms and conditions.
Cupping may remove toxins by stimulating the immune response, both locally and systemically.
It may also eliminate uric acid, a natural waste product from the digestion of certain foods. Uric acid buildup can lead to high levels of acidity in the blood and urine. Cupping may also have a positive effect on the lymphatic system, which is partially responsible for eliminating your body’s waste.
When the flow of lymph is interrupted, it can cause fluid buildup and prevent the body from properly eliminating toxins. Lymphatic drainage massage is one solution to this issue. Similarly, cupping may help increase the flow of lymph and prevent fluid buildup.
Note: While booking a cupping session bare in mind that the areas that have been treated will be quite visible as this treatment does temporarily leave behind bruise like markings.
Hot Stone Massage:
An Addition to a 50 or 80 minute massage
Hot Stone Massage is an ancient practice that uses heated natural Basalt stones that are placed on precise points along the body to create soothing pressure. These stones are rich in Iron and so retain heat longer. Swedish Massage is performed by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of the blood returning to the heart to enhance the positive effect of this Massage. Hot Stone Massage benefits include relaxation, stress release, help with back pain, and improvements to depression or anxiety. The Hot Stone Massage starts with a traditional Swedish Massage to prepare the muscles. The therapist then places the hot stones on key acupuncture points on the body. The weight and heat of the stones relax the muscle to allow deeper pressure during the massage. Using massage oil and long gliding strokes the therapist will massage the neck, back, arms and legs with and without stones.
Note: People who suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, Varicose veins, Migraines, rheumatoid arthritis, decreased pain sensitivity, recent wounds, areas of weakened or inflamed skin, tumors, metal implants, recent chemotherapy, radiation or surgery or are on medication that thins the blood and pregnant women are recommended not to try Hot Stone Massage.
Cellulite Reduction Therapy:
30 minutes
When it comes to cellulite treatments, creams don't always work, and lasers can be painful and expensive. However, a holistic treatment called cupping could actually help diminish the dimpled texture of cellulite. In traditional Chinese medicine, they see ailments as caused by a stagnation or blockage of energy flow, and cellulite is no different. Specifically, cellulite can be a result of poor blood circulation, lymphatic issues (where it is not draining as well as it should), fluid retention, and hormonal imbalances. Cupping moves your blood, increases circulation, and reduces the buildup of fluid, so it's pretty much perfect for helping to reduce the look of cellulite. The suction of the cups also breaks up the cellulite and changes the texture of your skin with repeated use. Even better, it can be used in very specific areas on the body—your butt, thighs, and the like. It's hard for a diet to target certain body parts, but cupping might. It's important to note that cellulite is a complex condition influenced by multiple factors. While cupping might provide some temporary improvements in skin appearance, it is unlikely to provide a long-term solution for cellulite if not on a continued regimen.
Scar Reduction Treatment:
30 minutes
Scar massage is a technique that includes rubbing and deep pressure and is used to prevent the scar from becoming hard and raised, and to prevent it from sticking to the underlying tissues including muscles and bones, which can limit movement. Scar massage is also a way to desensitize the area if you notice your scar is tender or painful when touched. This can be started when the wound is fully healed, when there are no surgical staples, steri-strips, or scabs.
